ImageLoop

Here's another slideshow maker site just like Slide.com. The slideshow maker interface is the same with Slide.com (create, save and share), they only differ in some presets, styles, skins, effects and music. I really love the stars effect which (I think) Slide.com doesn't have. In addition, Imageloop also offers Guestbooks, Myspace Friendshow (where photos of your friends in Myspace will be included in your slideshow); professional widgets such as Labloops (loop gallery) and Officeloops (for presentations); and special services such as Image hosting (unlimited) and XML Feedshow.

If you want to try Imageloop, just go to http://www.imageloop.com. You have to register first then "Create your own slideshows, free and easy!"

MyFlashFetish.com also has some cool widgets or flash toys that you can customize and use. Ever wondered who your secret admirers are? Post their Advanced Custom Crush Meter on your profile and find out! It's MyFlashFetish's most popular widget.

Try their music players and widgets now! Just visit http://www.myflashfetish.com.

Let's have some music!

Who doesn't like music? Everybody loves music, and because of that, technology had it's way of bringing out new cool gadgets and kept improving it from time to time. And then there's the internet, you can listen to streaming music in different sites, a lot of sites. You can listen to music anywhere, everywhere!

Now...this is where your blog or social networking page comes in. Do you want music playing in your site? Do you want your favorite songs playing when you open your site? Do you want the world to know who you are through the songs you like? If that's a yes, then put mp3 codes, music players or mp3 widgets in your site like the one below:

I got the above music player at Dizzler, so far it's the best one among all that I've used. Below are some other sites that offer music/mp3 codes for your page. I currently use the first 2 on my multiply albums.

imeem.com - an online community where millions of fans and artists discover new music, videos, and photos, and share their tastes with friends. You can upload your own playlist or even search available playlists and post the code in your blog or social networking page.

MP3-Codes.com - upload your own mp3s, search uploaded mp3s, browse uploaded mp3s then you could put the code(s) in your page.

PcPlanets.com - free mp3s, mp3 songs and music for myspace, xanga, or any website

Myspace Flash Mp3 Player Generator - generate a cool, colorful flash mp3 player, with your own songs in a playlist

Flash Toy Box [MySpace Radios] - forget putting one or two songs on your profile. Put a full live radio station on there! Select your genre and then your Radio Station. Just copy and paste the code into your profile.

Widgetbox - widgetizing the web

I found this really cool website with tons of all kinds of widgets that everyone can use in their blogs or social networking page. Widgetbox has a variety of widgets from fun and games to media, gadgets, money makers and more! You can even make your own widgets and spread them through their site. Browse their Gallery via Category, Most Popular, Top Rated or New Released widgets where you can choose what you would like to use. All widgets have brief descriptions and details like average ratings, subscriptions, date added and the developer. If you register, they have a My Widgets tab where you can find all the widgets you are subscribed to. Widgetbox is a very organized site, and that's one of the things that I like about it. You wouldn't have a hard time finding your way. Everything is there, all these cool widgets, and all you have to do is choose, click, click and click. I really recommend this site. Visit them at http://www.widgetbox.com.

Widgetbox was founded in early 2006. It is an open web widget marketplace and syndication platform. It serves both the developers who create widgets and the web publishers who use widgets on their sites.

You can read more about Widgetbox at http://docs.widgetbox.com/about/

other add-ons for your blog or social networking page

Below are some other add-ons that you can embed in your blog or social networking page.

Guestbook - i'm sure you're already familiar with this one, a lot of websites have this for visitors to sign if they have comments on your page or just want to drop a note, you can customize it (themes, colors) to match your profile

Games - if you want some interactive stuff on your page, you can add this, you can compete with your friends and just have some fun

Horoscopes - want to know what your horoscope says this week? go find out!

Countdown Timer - not a common add-on but can be useful if you're looking forward to an event, you can also customize it (colors, background and text style)

GlitterText - a lot of sites offer this already, you can customize your name or message by adding some cool effects and animations, it's all up to you

You can find the above add-ons at Slide and Rock You. I'll post more links soon.

cool widgets for your blog or social networking page

What are widgets anyway? A widget or rather a web widget is a third party item that can be embedded in a web page. It can be a video, your customized photo/photos or a music player like imeem. There are a lot of cool widgets that you can embed in your social networking page or blog. Below are some samples of the most common widgets used.

Slide Shows - you can customize photos with different transitions, backgrounds, themes, skins and music that you can share with your family and friends online; a more artistic approach in representing your photos, kind of like a moving album

FunPix or PhotoFx - you can spice up your favorite photo by adding effects, wigs, hats, glitter and more

Fun Notes - tired of simple comments? add some twist by inserting your message to hundreds of cool pictures and templates

SkinFlix - spice up your favorite You Tube video and make it your own with this cool widget, you can add cool frames or themes

The above widgets can be found at Slide and Rock You. It's up to you what you want to use. I myself have a cool slide show at my friendster and hi5 accounts.

One advice though, don't post too many widgets especially on your social networking page, because your page might load very slow even if you're using a dsl connection. Too many just doesn't work, don't over-crowd your page.
